Embarking on a week-long voyage across the Atlantic on the opulent RMS Etruria, they’re delighted to discover a traveling troupe of circus performers, fortune tellers, and a certain charismatic young escape artist entertaining the first-class passengers nightly. But then, privileged young women begin to go missing without explanation, and a series of brutal slayings shocks the entire ship. The strange and disturbing influence of the Moonlight Carnival pervades the decks as the murders grow ever more freakish, with nowhere to escape except the unforgiving sea. It’s up to Audrey Rose and Thomas to piece together the gruesome investigation as even more passengers die before reaching their destination. But with clues to the next victim pointing to someone she loves, can Audrey Rose unravel the mystery before the killer’s horrifying finale? Review: Wow. That is the word I would use to describe this book. It was absolutely phenomenal. From start to finish, Escaping from Houdini is a wild ride. I can't wait to start talking about this book, so let's get right into it! I obviously have to mention the two main characters, Thomas and Audrey Rose. Even though I have been reading this series since it came out, and know a lot of things about these wonderful characters, Kerri Maniscalco finds a way to continually add more and more details about the characters. This successfully rounds out the characters and really makes this book great. Anyone know knows me knows I love a good mystery. Escaping from Houdini keeps the mystery alive until the very last page. I literally could not stop reading! Everytime I thought I had figured out the killer, I am proven wrong. Nothing about this book is predictable and I can't put into words how amazing that is! Finally, the last thing that I want to touch on is the world building in this book. Every chapter something new gets added to the world that you thought you knew everything about. This added a certain depth to the mystery that was truly phenomenal! I can't recommend this series enough. Seriously. Go to your nearest bookstore/online and preorder this book. It comes out really soon and I guarantee you will love it!! Where to buy Escaping from Houdini:
