In a time when Shadowhunters are barely winning the fight against the forces of darkness, one battle will change the course of history forever. Welcome to the Infernal Devices trilogy, a stunning and dangerous prequel to the New York Times bestselling Mortal Instruments series. The year is 1878. Tessa Gray descends into London’s dark supernatural underworld in search of her missing brother. She soon discovers that her only allies are the demon-slaying Shadowhunters—including Will and Jem, the mysterious boys she is attracted to. Soon they find themselves up against the Pandemonium Club, a secret organization of vampires, demons, warlocks, and humans. Equipped with a magical army of unstoppable clockwork creatures, the Club is out to rule the British Empire, and only Tessa and her allies can stop them… Review: Can I give a book 6 stars? If I could, I would give every book in this series 6 stars. I loved everything about this book. First off, I definitely have a soft spot for Tessa after everything she’s been through. Then we have Will and Jem. I swear, Cassandra Clare is one of the best at coming up with swoon-worthy characters. Jem and Will are such complex, amazing characters. Next, we have everyone else at the institute: Charlotte, Henry, Jessamine, Sophie, and all of the others. Every single one of them have such well thought-out backstories, it truly is amazing. Then we have the plot. There were so many different things happening at once And can we just talk about how creepy the clockwork creatures are? EXTREMELY CREEPY. I finished Clockwork Angel very quick and immediately started Clockwork Prince. Buy Clockwork Angel:
