This is one of those books where you just want to drop everything and read. This is a forget to feed the dog, don’t go to work, lock yourself in a room and read, type of book. Cassandra Clare did an absolutely phenomenal job on this book. In the first chapter I was already enthralled.
This is a thrilling and powerful story. The entire world of this series is so well thought out and memorable. Everything you could ever want is in this book; humor, romance, action, a paranormal element, suspense, and so much more. City of Ashes is my favorite in the series! The best and the worst- The best because you enjoy them so much but the worst because you remember that you actually have real responsibilities LOL.
