Love will be sacrificed and lives lost in the terrible battle for the fate of the word in the thrilling final installment of the classic urban fantasy series The Mortal Instruments! Review: THIS BOOK KILLED ME. I don’t even know where to begin. I am literally at a loss for words. THE ENDING OF THIS BOOK… ripping my heart out and stomping on it would’ve been less painful. Most of the time I am able to keep it together and finish books but it took me 2 weeks to finish this book. Why? You ask. No, not because it was over 700 pages but because I had to take a break because I couldn’t handle all of the emotions at once. I thought that was the worst of it. Then I got to the end of the book. And then the epilogue. I am truly speechless right now. Every single emotion hit me all at once during the epilogue. I don’t want to rant about how amazing this book was so I am going to leave it at this: City of Heavenly Fire is well worth any emotional breakdown you suffer during and after reading this book. It is totally unexpected and suspenseful, all while keeping the elements we all know and love from the Mortal Instruments series. Although not expected, this was a fabulous conclusion to the phenomenal Mortal Instruments series! Buy City of Heavenly Fire:

That novel looks good. I am excited to have a copy of that one. I am a reader by passion. That is the main reason why I took up English major in Literature. I just think the words and books are magical. I can't get enough of it.
