The Baltimore Book Festival is annually held in the inner harbor in Baltimore. This year it was on September 23rd, 24th, and 25th (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). I went Friday and Sunday. I'm not going to lie, the main reason I went was to meet Jennifer L Armentrout. :)
The way the festival works is there are panels where authors that write similar topics get together and you can ask them questions. After the panels, the authors were available to sign things. There was also a HUGE table of swag from a bunch of different authors!
The first panel I went to on Friday was "Young Adult Author's Chat: Keeping the Thrills, Chills, and Romance Readers Love in YA Fiction," it was at the Maryland Romance Writers Stage and included Jennifer L Armentrout, Pintip Dunn, Cheryl Klam, Lea Nolan, Elodie Nowodazkij, and M.D. Waters. All of the authors were so friendly and answered everyone's questions! After the panel, I met Jennifer L Armentrout. I was wearing my Lux series necklace and shirt and she said she loved them ;).
Here is the shirt: Here's the necklace:
I got Onyx, Opal, and Lux: Beginnings signed. The books I picked up were: Elusion and Etherworld by Sheryl Klam and Claudia Gabel. Both of these I got signed as well.
The panels I attended on Saturday were "Paranormal/Fantasy/SciFi: The "Now That Was Awesome" Author Chat," It was at the Maryland Romance Writers Stage and included Pintip Dunn, Kira Decker, Dawn Ibanez, Cheryl Klam, Jean Murray, Stacey O'Neale, and M.D. Waters, "Author Chat: Young Adult Fiction Works For All Ages" It was also at the Maryland Romance Writers Stage and included Jennifer L Armentrout, Kira Decker, Pintip Dunn, and Megan Hart.
Here, I got Obsidian, Origin, Opposition, and Oblivion signed. I also picked up Forget Tomorrow by Pintip Dunn, which I got signed.
*Everything that I got was purchased with my own money and in no way am I trying to brag.*
