I am currently reading Unknown by Wendy Higgins. I absolutely love it! It just came out recently. I highly recommend it! What have I recently finished? I have recently finished the Dark Elements series by Jennifer L Armentrout. After I finish my reviews for the Sweet series, I will probably start on reviews for the Dark Elements series. I love Jennifer's books and recommend any of them and all of them. :) What am I reading next? I definitely reading Unrest, the sequel to Unknown, right when it comes out in February 2017. I know there is still quite a while until this is coming out, but I am just so excited to read it! I still haven't gotten around to ordering the Poison Princess series :(, but after I order them, I plan on reading those right away. I am also finishing the last book of the Dark Elements series. Once I finish those, I am going to read Hush, Hush. So far I've loved the Dark Elements series and I am stoked and sad to finish it. I am super excited to read Hush, Hush because I have heard wonderful things about it! :)

Review: After a close call at the summit, Anna and Kaidan are basically pulled away from each other. It is for their own safety but it still makes me upset because I've shipped Anna and Kai from the moment they met. Now, Anna is forced to begin working. She must corrupt souls in the way the other Nephilim do. She is no longer the innocent, good girl we met in Sweet Evil. I was glad to find that even though Anna acted differently, she was still the same Anna. We didn't see Kaidan for like 200 pages. I mean, yeah, we got glimpses of him but for the most part, Anna was with Kopano. Anna and Kope go all over, recruiting Neph allies for the fight for their freedom. Thankfully, the last stop on Anna's mission is LA, which is where Kaidan (and Blake) happen to be. One of my favorite parts of the book was while Anna was in LA. Anna proves to Kaidan that she isn't the same as the last time they met. This causes Kai to lose control for a split second and he shows his colors for a tiny, quick moment. From that point on, it was Kaidan and Anna moments for the rest of the book. We see more of the other Neph than we do of Kai. We get loads of information about Kopano and his father as well. We get introduced to a new Nephilim. Her name is Zania, daughter of Sonellion (Duke of Hatred). Zania has some serious issues. All of that aside, Zania becomes a good friend of Anna's. She becomes an even better friend of Kope's... if you get what I mean... ;) When Kaidan rushed to the airport and met Anna before she left to admit his feelings, I think my heart burst because I was so overjoyed. FINALLY!! After that scene, I put the book down for a few days because I was so happy and I didn't want anything to get in the way of that. After that I couldn't hold back any longer and I obviously read the rest of the book. AHH why are guy in books so much better than guys in real life?? Totally not fair. I definitely recommend this series! I thought the story sounded like something I would enjoy, so I bought the first book. I was eager to start reading it when it arrived. Once I started, I literally couldn't stop. I'm not joking... I finished this book in one sitting. I had to wait another week to finish the series because I had only ordered the first book. :( Sweet Evil centers around the children of fallen angels/demons. They are made to help their fathers (the Dukes) carry out a certain sin. They promote the 7 'main' deadly sins, along with some others (murder, substance abuse, lust, etc.) The children (Neph) are expected to spread the sin, essentially to create misery among the human world. I loved Kaidan from the start. Don't get me wrong, I totally shipped Kaidan and Anna form the start. But, I loved Kaidan's protective nature. He refused to be romantically involved because that sort of thing was forbidden among their kind. When Anna finally met her father, I will admit, I was afraid her father would turn out to be like some of the other Dukes. This was totally not the case! Anna's dad is a total softie for her. Back to Anna, she is the ultimate good girl. It did get annoying in some of her inner thoughts, refusing to lie, and even taking it to the extreme and offering up truths that shouldn't necessarily have been shared. At some points I just wanted Anna to stop and man up a little. Thankfully, she does start to later in Sweet Evil. When Anna meets Kaidan, she is immediately drawn to him. She doesn't know at first that his sin is lust (which definitely complicates things). I mean, who wouldn't be drawn to him? He has a British accent!! At first I was having trouble with all of the Dukes and the sins they were associated with. Once I reached about midpoint in the book, it became clearer and I didn't have any problems. Overall, I loved this book and the series is one of my favorites.
